Lunch-time clubs at Adams Middle School provides the students an opportunity to develop friendships and participate in activities with students who have similar interests. Students get to participate in two clubs, one during 1st lunch and one during 2nd lunch. All clubs are supervised by an Adams teacher.
Club Formation Timeline
Proposal Week October 19 – 23, 2009
- Students complete club proposal forms, find sponsors, and submit to main office.
- A.S.B. creates posters to advertise and promote club proposals and lunch clubs.
- A.S.B. visits advisements to promote club proposals, talk about rules, procedures, etc.
- Ms. Debbie announces during advisement.
- Mrs. McAdams advertises in Email, Mrs. Grantz posts timeline on website.
Approval Dates November 2 and 3, 2009
- A.S.B. goes over club applications during advisement and accepts/rejects proposals.
- Mr. B signs off on all approved clubs.
Club Rush Friday, November 6, 2009
- Clubs set up tables to promote clubs at both lunches and students sign up for up to two clubs, 1 during first lunch and 1 during second lunch.
- Mrs. McAdams posts date on weekly e-newsletter.
Organization Week November 9 – 13, 2009
- Approved clubs fill out Charter and By-laws form.
- Briggerman, Sharp, Taha meet with Club Leaders to go over rules/expectations.
- A.S.B. prepares club lists.
